Ollie brings the small tools I use throughout the day into one native macOS app. VibeScribe’s dictation is now part of it, alongside an app launcher, clipboard history, text snippets and window switching.
Use the keyboard to open apps, find something you copied earlier or insert a saved snippet. For dictation, hold a shortcut, speak and insert the transcript into the app you’re using, with optional AI cleanup.
Ollie also includes desktop switching, camera imports, ntfy notifications, typing sounds and per-app network usage. Each feature can be enabled separately, with shared shortcut settings and a compact menu bar interface.
The launcher builds on Tinycast. Ollie is open source and requires macOS 26 or later. The code and build instructions are on GitHub.
